We in the Ronald Williams Library have been busy over the summer on a number of initiatives highlighted in this issue. We have added several new electronic resources, received grants to strengthen our print collections, and have been engaged extensively with the campus in planning for NEIUport, a new internet portal to be launched in January of 2007. On the facilities front, remodeling of the fourth floor of the Ronald Williams Library is now nearly complete. Over the next few weeks, we will celebrate the opening of the new Language Learning Lab and welcome back the Learning Center, Math Lab and Reading Lab into a redesigned Learning Commons. Beyond books, bytes and buildings, Library faculty and staff remain our most critical resource. Here we have added new staff, reorganized some service areas and volunteered our time and talents. An updated list of Library faculty assignments as subject specialists is included as a reminder that these individuals are a primary point of contact whatever your information resource, library instruction or research needs.
